At the Outpatients’ Department of Gastroenterology of the same hospital, I try to do my best in diagnosing and treating patients with variable, versatile, complex and difficult-to-define complaints of the digestive tract. With respect to the fact that most of these problems are chronic conditions, it is a long-lasting task, taking several years or even decades.
Since 2007 I have been performing endoscopic examinations in my primary workplace (hospital) both for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, such as removal of polyps, arrest of bleeding, removal of foreign bodies from the digestive tract, endoscopic insertion of PEG feeding tubes or jejunal feeding tubes); since 2012, also within the frame of a private practice.
I have been participating in biological therapy treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD Centre, Péterfy Hospital) as well as in Phase II and III trials.
My fields of activity also include the insertion of a stomach balloon to obtain weight loss in overweight, obese patients.
In 2014 I started to perform capsule endoscopies of the small bowel.
